WOMEN'S ENTERPRISE ACTION LOAN FUND
Women Working With Women


A combination of business mentoring and financing for small businesses is being offered to women-owned businesses in the Greater New York Metropolitan area. The program is designed to assist women develop successful and profitable businesses so that they are financially self sufficient.

The Thypin Oltchick Institute for Women’s Entrepreneurship @ F·E·G·S provides the loans for this program. The Women’s Enterprise Action Loan Fund has been established through a generous contribution by VMW, Inc. Candidates must have an established business and a specific plan for utilizing the funds. Initial loans of up to $5,000 are available.

The business mentoring program includes business experts in the areas of marketing, communication, management and finance. Mentoring is an integral part of the process and all loan recipients are paired with advisors as part of the program.

Applications are being accepted through October 15th. To receive an application, please email ownyourbusiness@fegs.org or you can go to www.fegs.org to download an application.

Tax exempt contributions to support the program can be made to The Thypin Oltchick Institute for Women’s Entrepreneurship @ F·E·G·S for the Women’s Enterprise Action Loan Fund.

This program is administered by F-E-G-S Health and Human Services System, a beneficiary of UJA-Federation of New York.
